Reaching the Next Generation

Children's Outreach

The Kidz Romania team, including youth volunteers, at the invitation of local churches, travel throughout Romania presenting the message of Jesus Christ and connecting children in the community to a local church. Children are presented the Gospel through creative means like puppets, skits, games, object lessons, illusion, songs and more. While children have fun they are also learning the truth about Jesus Christ and memorizing Scripture verses.

Summer Camps

During the summer, lives are transformed as the Kidz Romania team and many volunteers spend several days pouring into the lives of children and adolescents from many diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds (Romanian, Roma (Gypsy), and Turkish Muslims). Children spend the day participating in a variety of activities including small group devotions, chapel service, outdoor games/activities, craft projects and of course enjoy camp food.

Public School Assembly Program (Character Matters)

If they call us, we will go! Kidz Romania has had opportunity to go into Preschools, Kindergartens and public/private schools to hold an assembly program. Biblical values pertaining to character development are usually the focus. Examples of some of the character themes we use include (but are not limited to): honesty, respect, courage, perseverance, kindness and prevention of drugs, alcohol and smoking.

Women's Tea

The Kidz Romania team has the joy of sharing the message of hope through Jesus Christ to women throughout the country. Visiting teams help us put on an evangelistic program specifically geared towards women and teenage girls. The women arrive to a beautifully decorated room, small plates of snacks, desserts and juice. During the program women laugh, play games, eat, hear testimonies from other women around the world and join together in prayer. Women leave with the message of hope in their hearts and a nice gift provided by the team.
